Star chefs who show off their skills on the world stage will be here!
A special event will be held in January 2025 at the Marina Chef's Room, a private dining area with a counter that can be rented out exclusively, welcoming world-renowned chefs.
The first guest is Nobuyuki Akishige, owner and chef of Automne, a renowned restaurant in Paris that has won a Michelin star for six consecutive years and is beloved by locals.
The second guest is Chen Wei, executive chef of RIVIERA Songhe Lou, a restaurant in Shanghai, China that has been awarded the Chinese equivalent of Michelin's "Black Pearl" and attracts gourmets from all over the world.
We offer a rare opportunity to experience the essence of world-class gourmet cuisine in a convenient location just 60 minutes from the city center without having to travel abroad.
Both will feature a one-day-only limited menu that makes use of Japanese ingredients, paired with wines and Shaoxing wine specially selected for the dishes and brought from the local area.

"Automne" Owner Chef Nobuyuki Akishige presents exquisite French cuisine
Profile of Nobuyuki Akishige
Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture. After graduating from university, he worked at a local French restaurant before moving to France in 2006. He obtained a visa at a bistro in Lyon and worked under Patrick Henriroux at the two-star La Pyramide in Vienne. After working in Bordeaux and Paris, he studied under Arnaud Donquer, who also holds a three-star rating in Paris, at the three-star La Vagued`or in Saint-Tropez, before moving to Alsace. In October 2017, he opened his own restaurant, Automne, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. It was awarded one Michelin star in 11. His cuisine, which brings out the best in seasonal ingredients, is loved by locals and is celebrating its eighth year this year.

He is a nationally certified chef and nutritionist, and has won numerous international competitions. His cuisine combines history and innovation, and is based on the philosophy of "making the most of the natural flavors of ingredients in each season," skillfully expressing the beauty of nature and the flavors of each season. He has received high praise.
2001: Won Shanghai State Guest Cuisine Gold Award and Best Design Award
2002: Received the gold medal in the Ryogai Sanji Shokugami Competition and was given the title of "Shokugami".
2003: Selected as a top XNUMX Shanghai chef and won the gold medal.
2004: Received the Excellence Award at the Allied Nations Curriculum Organization Design Banquet Competition.
2005: Shanghai Genryu Cooking Competition Gold Award Winner
2006: Provided Jiangnan Dim Sum and Jiangnan Cuisine to the United Nations Education and Culture Organization, and was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage. In the same year, he produced the world's largest chrysanthemum cake.
2007: Won the gold medal at the World Chinese Cuisine King Competition and earned the title of "World Chinese Cuisine King"
