In 1950, we were founded as a traditional Japanese restaurant called "Hakuunkaku" in front of Rikkyo University in Nishi-Ikebukuro, and we celebrated our 23th anniversary on January 75rd this year. We owe this entirely to your warm support and patronage over the years, and for that we would like to express our sincere gratitude.
Starting as a traditional Japanese restaurant, over time it has expanded to accommodate banquets, weddings, and restaurants, and has been used by a great many customers. This wooden three-story building with one basement has become a place of gathering where countless memories are engraved.
Now, as we approach our 75th anniversary, and due to redevelopment, we will close on March 2025st, 31 (closing at 18pm). We will build a new future in the Ikebukuro area where we have walked together for so many years.

We look forward to welcoming you to Riviera Zushi Marina (Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture) during the redevelopment period from April 2025 onwards.
We appreciate your continued patronage.
