A truly rich and healthy mind and body
Food is the foundation of human life, and passing on a healthy and rich food culture to future generations is an important issue for Riviera, which has been involved in the restaurant business for many years.
In addition to food, creating a state of "well-being" that is fulfilling physical, mental and social health is part of contributing to the development of a city that will lead to a truly prosperous and healthy future, and is also Riviera's mission.
Vegetable production by circulation type farming method
Riviera Shonan Circulating Vegetables

Riviera Zushi Marina has set up a compost station on-site, where vegetable waste from restaurant kitchens and other establishments is turned into high-quality compost. This compost is then used to grow vegetables at contracted farmers on the local Miura Peninsula, who then purchase the vegetables and serve them again at Riviera Zushi Marina. This ecosystem, called "Riviera Shonan Circulating Vegetables," was launched in 2006. Aiming for zero waste and zero CO2 emissions, the facility continues to work on not burning food waste or transporting it to incineration centers. The facility also strives to use all of its ingredients to avoid waste and to consume food carefully.
Supporting food culture in various parts of Japan

In cooperation with each prefecture, we have been holding events to enjoy the unique flavors of each region since 1985. We support producers who continue to protect local food culture and promote the revitalization of local economies.
Promotion of local production for local consumption

Each restaurant at Riviera serves fresh, delicious food by sourcing safe ingredients that can only be found in that region and at that time of year, and by knowing the faces of the producers.
Shonan International Art Festival

We are holding an art festival that utilizes the power of culture and the arts to rediscover the charm of Shonan, while also contributing to improving marine environmental issues and revitalizing the wider region.
Town cleanup

Based on Riviera's guiding principle that "improving the city and its spaces leads to improving oneself," we clean up nearby sidewalks and other areas as members of the community.
Cleaning local public toilets

We have provided free public toilet renovations. Since 2015, each staff member has been cleaning the toilets twice a week so that local residents can use them comfortably.
Succession of tradition and regional promotion

The Miura Dosun Festival is held every year. By supporting the operation of traditional events such as Kasakake, one of Japan's three oldest forms of archery and horseback riding, we contribute to regional development and the passing on of traditions.
Pets and people can coexist
Supporting a rich life

By operating restaurants and hotels that allow pets and hosting events such as the Zushi Marina Pet Festival, we are contributing to raising awareness of animal welfare and realizing a society in which people can live together in harmony.
Regular tsunami evacuation drills

At Riviera Zushi Marina, which has been designated as a tsunami emergency evacuation site, temporary evacuation drills are being conducted on the rooftop of an apartment building together with the neighboring Kotsubo Nursery School and local residents.
