Riviera Resort Co., Ltd. has registered as a Kanagawa SDGs Partner.

Riviera Resort Co., Ltd. was registered as a Kanagawa SDGs Partner by Kanagawa Prefecture after its SDGs objectives and initiatives were reviewed, and the company participated in the Kanagawa SDGs Partner registration ceremony held on April 2019rd Tuesday, 23.
The Kanagawa SDGs Partner is a program in which the prefecture and companies work together to promote the initiatives of companies that are engaged in business that contributes to the advancement of the SDGs, and to work to raise awareness of the SDGs.
In 2006, Riviera Resort Co., Ltd. launched the "Riviera Future Creation Project" with three basic sustainability principles: "Living a fulfilling life in harmony with nature," "For the future of all connected to the Riviera," and "Refining the good old things for the next generation." Since then, they have been promoting the SDGs through a wide range of initiatives, including the realization of a carbon-free society through the use of natural energy, marine and forest conservation, local activities such as cleaning public toilets, marine education and other education, the development of low-sugar menus and menus using new cooking techniques that enable oxidation prevention in order to form a safe and secure food culture that leads to disease prevention, and the reduction of food waste through recycling-oriented organic farming.
