Sustainable event

With the aim of becoming a city with a beautiful sea that can be proud of the world, in 2024 we continued to carry out awareness-raising activities such as beach cleanups and blue carbon initiatives.

The forum featured a keynote speech by architect Kengo Kuma, as well as a talk session with guests including craftsman Ryohei Miyata, sculptor Mineo Kobe, and Governor Yuji Kuroiwa.

We received approximately 33 entries from a wide range of age groups, from 4 years old to 87 years old, from 1000 prefectures. The award ceremony was attended by Kanagawa Prefecture Governor Kuroiwa and the leaders of each city and town, and the "R Next Summit" was also held to listen to the voices of Generation Z.

We hope that by transmitting art from the sea, we will redefine the existence of the sea for those of us who live in the present and the future, and that it will serve as a roadmap for improving marine environmental issues and regional issues. It was held.

Do what you can for the ocean, together with people who love the ocean! The event was held in 13 cities and towns across Kanagawa Prefecture that face Sagami Bay, sharing their knowledge and cooperating.

We spoke to women who continue to strive for women's activities and the future in a world that is rapidly changing, and who give courage to others.

We received 35 entries from people aged 5 to 84 from 1446 prefectures. On the day of the award ceremony, we sponsored the marine adventurer Kojiro Shiraishi and held the "R Next Summit" to listen to the voices of Generation Z.

Over the course of four days, 4 coastal beach cleanups and symposiums by experts were held, providing an opportunity to build a network and community that connects people who love the sea.

We held <Riviera Shonan Beach Clean> and <Symposium> on 6 coasts in Kanagawa prefecture under the theme of "Future Thinking from the Sea".

All over 400 works from children to adults are exhibited.15 prizes were awarded on the last day of the exhibition.

Including beach clean, Marche, talk live, movie screening, projection production were performed.

Ai Tominaga, Hideko Hara, and Hiroyuki Watanabe will be special guests at the sustainable fashion show co-sponsored by the Riviera and IZA.In addition, talk and live performances and an exhibition of sustainable mobility were held.

We held a 3-day limited event with the theme of ``ETHICAL'', which is currently a hot topic, to enjoy food, shopping, and learning.

A total of 103 entries were submitted.The works of three people, 3rd grade elementary school, 2nd grade junior high school, and 2nd grade high school, won awards.

We held a lecture for our employees to improve their knowledge of the SDGs and deepen their understanding of the relationship between our Riviera Group's efforts and the SDGs.

In support of Kanagawa Prefecture's "zero culling declaration," the event was held to raise funds for the construction of the Kanagawa Prefecture Animal Protection Center.

Focusing on microplastics in particular, the event was held by volunteer staff and local residents.
