| Competition method | The red sea bream category is based on the weight of one fish, and the horse mackerel category is based on the total weight of three fish. However, if the weight is the same, the fish with the longer length will be ranked higher. *The only fish eligible for the Red Sea Bream category are red sea bream (crimson sea bream, yellow sea bream, black sea bream, stonefish, etc. are not eligible). The target fish in the horse mackerel division is only the horse mackerel (striped horse mackerel, mara mackerel, blue mackerel, etc. are excluded). It is possible to enter in one category for each, or to enter in both categories. (No need to declare in advance) |

| Whether or not to hold the tournament | The availability of weather forecasts will be determined at 12:00 the day before the tournament and will be announced on the website. After 12:00, you can also check by phone to the secretariat. There will be no backup dates, so if the tournament is cancelled, we will refund the amount you paid in advance minus an administrative fee of 1,000 yen. We will inform you separately about the refund method. |
| Notes and requests | At Koajiro Bay in Riviera Seabornia Marina, many member boats and rowboats are moored and enjoy fishing and other activities. Please be careful of wake waves when sailing. When anchoring in Koajiro Bay, please follow the instructions of marina staff and behave in a polite manner. After anchoring, marina staff will let the boat through. Be sure to wear a life jacket during the competition and when passing the ship for weighing. Please follow the boat fishing rules and participate in the competition. (see site) |
| Donation | In order to maintain marine resources, a portion of the competition entry fee will be donated to the Kanagawa Prefectural Aquaculture Association and the Blue Carbon Belt Riviera Research Institute. |
