In the vast ocean
to think about oneself

The wind blowing across the ocean envelops everything. Although it can appear violent and rough at times, the gentle sea breeze can soothe anyone's heart. This is the work of the mysteries of nature.
Only 1 hour from central Tokyo. People who live a stressful life in a bustling metropolis release their tense minds and bodies by being embraced by the ocean for a moment. Riviera Zushi Marina, Riviera Seabornia Marina, and the ocean that stretches beyond them are such places.
The real pleasure of the sea is being active on a yacht or cruiser. However, the charm of staying in the open ocean, just feeling the breeze and enjoying the energy from the sea, is an indescribable charm.
The sea is healing. It will accept anything. The sea is deep and wide. and connected to the world.
It happened at a salon concert held at Riviera Zushi Marina. As I listened to Schumann's Traumerei and watched the sunset light up the majestic Mt. Fuji across Sagami Bay, illuminating the yacht, I felt as if something in my heart suddenly overflowed. It reminded me of Eden Roc in Antibes, southern France, where I once stayed.

testify to the spirit of learning
Synara emblem

The sea is also a place of learning.
The historic wooden sailing ship Shinara was completely restored with the help of 12 craftsmen from 50 countries around the world.
Even after six and a half years of restoration work, the Synara project is still only halfway through. The crew will finally reach the goal by learning the unique maneuvering skills of this ship and by adopting a state of mind befitting a famous boat with 6 years of history.
It has been a long journey, but the other day, 18 months have passed since the Synara training that I started, and as a milestone, we held a ceremony to award the Synara emblem. These crew members are the only ones allowed to control Shinara. Over the past 18 months, I have spent the last XNUMX months refining my technical skills, as well as my humanity and inner self. The emblem is a testament to their personal growth. I feel that the behavior and words of each and every one of them embodies the corporate philosophy of Riviera.
I was proud to see their reliable faces, always humble and grateful.

Beach clean in the Shonan area

As a business based on the ocean that stretches out before our eyes, we have been working since 2006 to preserve the ocean environment and pass it on to future generations.
One example is the beach clean, which was started by employee volunteers. In recent years, many like-minded Riviera members and local people have been happily participating.
``Since Shonan is highly environmentally conscious, why not join hands and think about the sea?'' The proposal was met with the proposal of ``Shonan, where we have a high level of environmental awareness.'' Many people, including fishing cooperatives, fishermen, and Riviera members, supported the project. Furthermore, we were able to hold the "Riviera Shonan Beach Clean" on December 900th (World Volunteer Day) as the 4th Riviera SDGs Festival, with a total of 5 participants on Yuigahama Beach, Zushi Beach, and Morito Beach. .
Just like the Riviera members, the people who came out to support us are also an important family to us.
I wish everyone in the "Riviera Family" all the best in the new year.
