Riviera Future Creation Project

Based on the corporate philosophy of "living a fulfilling life in harmony with nature," the Riviera Group
Committed to the SDGs adopted at the United Nations Summit,
We are focusing our efforts on creating a prosperous future through a variety of activities.

Don't hesitate to be realistic about what you can do now

A "sustainable" power generation system that does not rely on fossil fuels or generate carbon dioxide (CO2) through combustion. Along with wind power generation, a representative example of this is "solar power generation" using solar panels.
Just like businesses in today's world, none of the businesses operated by the Riviera Group would be possible without electricity consumption. For example, at a marina, it can be used to power equipment. In hospitality settings such as restaurants and weddings, electricity is used for cooking ovens and presentations. It is currently not realistic to convert all of them to solar power, but that is why we want to do whatever we can without hesitation.
Environmental conservation is more than just a slogan; it is all about the accumulation of small actions.
With this in mind, Riviera has been exploring practical ways to utilize solar power. For example, the thin-film solar panels affixed to the quay of Riviera Zushi Marina. The quay facing the sea is illuminated by the sun for many hours. This is the first marina in Japan to utilize this power for power generation.
Additionally, in Koajiro Bay, where Riviera Seabornia Marina is located, we operate the world's first fast-charging battery-propelled boat, Raicho S, as a shuttle boat. This jet-powered small boat, created through joint research with Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, carries passengers as it quietly and lightly moves through the calm bay. This energy source is also sunlight.
All of these are things that the current Riviera can do according to its ability.

For use in normal times and emergencies
Riviera's proposals to make it possible

Since 2002, Riviera Zushi Marina has been promoting urban development under the banner of ``Ecology Town Zushi Marina.'' Considering the ecology of the ``earth, atmosphere, and ocean,'' we are promoting the use of sunlight and recycling-oriented farming methods that lead to CO2 reduction. Concerned about microplastics, we have worked to completely abolish plastic straws and conduct beach cleanup activities with local residents.
