Rikkyo University President Kaku Yang-chun

gave students an opportunity
Thank you for your long-term relationship
Rikkyo Dori is a ward road that runs approximately 800 meters from the Ikebukuro Futamata Police Box intersection to Yamate Dori. Riviera Tokyo, which stands on this street that bears the name of a prestigious university, has been guiding its customers in this way since the days of Hakuunkaku. "It's right next to Rikkyo University," he said.
Rikkyo University, originally located in Tsukiji, moved to its current location in 70, 32 years before the opening of Hakuunkaku, which celebrates its 1918th anniversary this year. For Riviera, Rikkyo University is a senior member of the local community and has been an important neighbor since its founding. Riviera employees working at Ikebukuro are familiar to the Rikkyo students and parents who pass by the school gates.
``There's something about the city of Ikebukuro that makes the whole area feel like a family.
Rikkyo University was developed in Ikebukuro, and the Ikebukuro campus is home to not only the university, but also Rikkyo Elementary School, Rikkyo Ikebukuro Junior High School, and High School, which provide integrated education. Since it is an all-boys school, the students at this "integrated school" are true Rikkyo boys. The Rikkyo boys who have attended the school since elementary school grow up under the watchful eye of everyone in Ikebukuro for 12 years until they graduate from high school.
Our university also has a ``Broadcasting Research Group,'' which has produced announcers and other people who are very active in the broadcasting industry. The radio program ``Shonan Hemingway St.Pauledition'' (Shonan Beach FM, third Fridays from 16:30 p.m.) by active members is broadcast live from Riviera Cafe His Green Style in Riviera Tokyo. Since the programs are produced in accordance with the strict standards of broadcasting stations, students aiming to enter the broadcasting world will receive live lessons that are directly connected to the real world. I am grateful to Riviera for providing students with the opportunity to get closer to their dreams. This is the result of our long-standing relationship.'' (President Guo)
Both in Ikebukuro
as a landmark
Mr. Guo himself was born in Ikebukuro. ``When I was young, Hakuunkaku was a first-class banquet hall known to everyone, a place where important people gathered, and an atmosphere that was difficult for children to approach. When the name was changed to Riviera Tokyo, that prestigious place was gone. I was so shocked when I mistakenly thought it was a real thing.Rikkyo and Riviera, which are rooted in the city of Ikebukuro and are located side by side, are inseparable. We hope to continue to have warm exchanges.Together, we will serve as landmarks of Ikebukuro. ” (President Guo)
