Tripartite agreement concluded for competition management

Last February 4th, Riviera Resort Co., Ltd., Kanagawa Prefecture, and Shonan Nagisa Park Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to strengthen collaboration and work together towards the success of the sailing competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. We have concluded the agreement.
The sailing competition at the Olympic Games will be held off the coast of Enoshima (Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture). This tripartite agreement was concluded at the request of Kanagawa Prefecture. Specifically, matters related to various operations such as the movement of boats stored at Shonan Port (Enoshima Yacht Harbor) and the promotion and awareness of sailing competitions are handled by Shonan Nagisa Park (Mizuta Yacht Harbor), which is the designated manager of Shonan Port. We will strengthen our collaboration with President Toyohito.

In addition to operating its own facilities, Riviera Zushi Marina (Zushi City) and Riviera Seabornia Marina (Miura City), Riviera is entrusted with Hayama Port by Kanagawa Prefecture and serves as its designated manager. We are also an official partner of the Japan Sailing Federation's "Hinomaru Sailors".
Ever since it was decided that the Olympics would be held and the movement to invite the sailing competition to Sagami Bay began in earnest, we have expressed our full cooperation as the "marina closest to the race area," wishing for the success of the event. .
We are truly honored to be able to participate in the management of the tournament in partnership with the prefecture and Shonan Nagisa Park by signing this agreement.
At the conclusion ceremony held at the Kanagawa Prefectural Office, Prefectural Governor Yuji Kuroiwa said, ``While preparations are in full swing, it is extremely important to create conditions that will allow everyone to welcome the Games in a comfortable manner.'' Just as I said, I would like to work together to make the competition held in my hometown of Sagami Bay a success. Furthermore, we will work even harder to popularize marine sports as a ``legacy'' after the Games.
There is just over a year left until the Olympics. It's finally here!
