|Clean up in Ikebukuro on World Ocean Day on June 6

\ LOVE OCEAN Daisakusen from the city /

On June 6th, World Ocean Day, a cleanup event will be held in the city of Ikebukuro, Tokyo, to "protect the oceans of the future."
It is said that XNUMX% to XNUMX% of marine litter is generated in the city.Garbage that is thrown away in the city or overflows from garbage bins flows with rain into drainage ditches, and eventually reaches the ocean through rivers, where fish eat the garbage, and that fish is on our table. The sea and town are connected.
Therefore, we want to disseminate the awareness that collecting "town garbage" is directly linked to "SDGs 14 Protecting the richness of the sea", and we will carry out the "LOVE OCEAN Daisakusen from the city".

From Japan, an island country surrounded by the sea, to the world, why don't you join us to protect the beautiful and rich sea and spread the charm of the sea?

Date: June 8th Thu.
Reception: 9:20-
Activity time: Scheduled for 9:30-10:30
