6rd LOVE OCEAN
Yearly Schedule

LOVE OCEAN Project Event
The LOVE OCEAN Project holds various events throughout the year as a place to "know," "learn," and "spread the word" about sustainability while having fun experiencing it.
Every year, many people participate in these events, regardless of age, region, or position, including the Shonan Beach Clean-up in the Shonan Coast, a seaside area overlooking Mount Fuji in 13 cities and towns across Kanagawa Prefecture (Miura, Yokosuka, Hayama, Zushi, Kamakura, Fujisawa, Chigasaki, Hiratsuka, Oiso, Ninomiya, Odawara, Manazuru, and Yugawara) facing Sagami Bay; the Love Ocean Operation from the City, which cleans up city trash in the city center, which is the source of marine debris; and the SDGs Marina Exploration Tour, which allows people to experience SDGs initiatives on a tour.
Why not join us and tour the Shonan Coast while participating in this event?
During the beach cleanup, you will be surprised at how different each beach is, depending on the color and size of the sand (from sand to stones), the waves and tides, the shape of the coast, the depth, and whether there are mountains or rivers. The trash that falls, washes up, and flows in is also different. Please feel free to join us as a form of sustainable tourism that allows you to experience the diverse sea of Sagami Bay.
"Let's all go to the beach!"
Please check the links below for event information for each beach.
