The beach clean-up relay race took place along three beaches in three cities and towns: Hayama Town, Zushi City, and Kamakura City. The total number of participants in the entire event was 3, and the symposium in particular was so popular that there were standing room only, and an energetic talk session was held.

Miura City, Yokosuka City, Hayama Town, Zushi City, Kamakura City, Fujisawa City, Chigasaki City, Hiratsuka City, Oiso Town, Ninomiya Town, Odawara City, Manazuru Town, and Yugawara Town. "Riviera Shonan Beach Clean" was carried out over four days. In addition to providing information on the beach conditions of the coasts of 13 municipalities to JAMSTEC's marine litter research, we also used "town coins" as an initiative to revitalize the local economy by "connecting the sea and the city."As a measure against isolated areas in the event of a disaster, there is also the "Marine Disaster Prevention Drill -From the Beach to the Beach-" that transports people and goods to neighboring towns, and the "Marine Goods Transport Training -From the Sea to the Beach-" in collaboration with the Coast Guard Department. It was carried out under the supervision of beach cleanup participants.

At the same time, the cycle tourism "Tour de SHONAN Coast" will be held to discover and rediscover the appeal of tourism resources in the LOVE OCEAN area, with boat fishing tournaments and sailing events that are conscious of clean actions to protect the ocean's nature, and mobility that does not emit CO2. held. We also held a tour for divers and children to see the regeneration of seaweed beds through the breeding of precocious seaweed at the Blue Carbon Belt Riviera Research Institute.
On the final day, we held an "Ocean Symposium" where we held a discussion with marine experts and exchanged opinions from various SDGs perspectives among men and women of all ages.

The Riviera Shonan Beach Cleanup was held at 13 beaches in 13 cities and towns throughout Sagami Bay, including Miura City, Yokosuka City, Hayama Town, Zushi City, Kamakura City, Fujisawa City, Chigasaki City, Hiratsuka City, Oiso Town, Ninomiya Town, Odawara City, Manazuru Town, and Yugawara Town, as well as a street cleanup activity in Ikebukuro to collect city trash that is a source of marine debris, will be carried out again in 2024.
We also held a boat fishing tournament and sailing events with an awareness of clean actions for marine nature conservation, as well as a tour for children and divers to observe the regeneration of seaweed beds by cultivating precocious Ecklonia cava at the Blue Carbon Belt Riviera Research Station.
The "Ocean Symposium" provided a forum for discussion with ocean experts and involved an exchange of opinions from various SDG perspectives, regardless of age or gender.
