We are now entering the "Decade of Action" towards 2030, the goal set by the SDGs. To protect Kanagawa's beautiful sea and surrounding environment, and to live a rich and fulfilling future... Riviera will become a “hub” to expand the circle of support and empathy, and use the SDGs as a tool to talk, think, and take action. We will disseminate information across all frameworks, including industry, size, public and private sectors.

Riviera as a “hub” that connects companies, regions, and experts with SDGs

Riviera Group's corporate philosophy is ``Living a fulfilling life in harmony with nature,'' and since 1980 we have been working on what we can do. In 2006, we launched the "Riviera Future Creation Project" and are promoting SDGs through concrete activities in the three axes of "environment," "education," and "health and medical care."
As part of this effort, we started the "Shonan Ecology Town Riviera Zushi Marina" concept in 2012. We have undertaken pioneering initiatives such as introducing circular farming methods, installing numerous EV charging spots, holding experiential events about the three major energies (air, ocean, and earth), and introducing V3B systems at hotels.
Despite many people agreeing with the SDGs, there is an image that the SDGs are something that governments, local governments, and large companies are working on. Regardless of the framework, if there is a place where people who agree with the SDGs can come together, the circle of sympathy will expand even further. Riviera, as a small and medium-sized company, can also contribute by leveraging its core business of providing a place for gatherings and becoming a "hub" that creates new collaborations. At the Riviera SDGs Festival, our 10 years of action began.
