Regarding regular evacuation drills

At Riviera Zushi Marina, in addition to conducting regular disaster prevention and evacuation drills for all employees, we also hold regular evacuation drills with the neighboring nursery school and local residents.
In addition, the rooftops of the apartment buildings (Buildings 3, 4, 5, and 8) have been designated as tsunami emergency evacuation buildings by Zushi City, so we cooperate and collaborate with the local government, the Fire and Disaster Management Agency, nursery schools, and local residents to conduct tsunami evacuation drills on the rooftops of the apartment buildings (Buildings 3 and 4).

Emergency response at the Malibu Hotel

The first hotel in Japan to introduce an EV charging and discharging system (V2B system)

In the event of a power outage or other power loss, the EV will be used as a storage battery to supply electricity to the hotel building.
During disasters and emergencies, many people face problems such as running out of batteries on mobile devices such as smartphones, which are considered lifelines, or losing lighting at night.
By utilizing this V2B system, you can charge your mobile phone and keep warm.
(For example, one 62kWh electric car can charge 1 mobile phones, run one electric fan for 6200 hours, and one electric stove for 1 hours. It can also run electric cooking appliances, making it possible to make baby milk.)
Environmental solutions linked to EVs will be introduced at the Malibu Hotel, and at the Riviera, the hotel will be able to respond to both "everyday" and "what if" situations while also being mindful of the environment and emergencies.

Malibu Hotel is the first hotel in Japan to introduce an EV charging/discharging system "V2B" and "workplace charging", and is environmentally friendly by combining "always" and "what if". We also aim to be a hotel that is considerate even during power outages. It also performs peak cut management using electricity from EVs and contributes to CO2 reduction.
