Shanghai is China's leading international city. Located on the Bund in the city's center, the famous restaurant RIVIERA Songhelou continues to attract foodies and celebrities from all over the world.
To commemorate the visit of the restaurant's executive chef, Chen Wei, who holds the title of "World King of Chinese Cuisine" and is the pinnacle of the Chinese cuisine world, we will be holding a special dinner.
The theme of this event is "Spring Shanghai Cuisine and the Wisdom of Spices."
Spices in Shanghai cuisine are not simply "hot" or "stimulating." For Chen, who holds two licenses, both nationally certified as a Chinese chef and a nutritionist, an extremely rare double license even in his home country, spices are an extremely important element that supports the idea that "food is medicine" and "warms the body, regulates circulation, and helps you feel comfortable during the change of seasons."
Using artistic techniques that won a gold medal at the World Chinese Cuisine Championships, the world's most prestigious competition known as the Olympics of Chinese cuisine, the chef meticulously prepares the perfect dish, carefully crafting it to achieve the perfect aroma, aftertaste, and balance.Carefully selected ingredients that evoke the budding of spring are transformed by Mr. Chen's hands into the ultimate dish that satisfies both body and mind.
Experience the refinement of modern Shanghai cuisine and the "essence of spices" that gently resonate with your body in a specially created space overlooking the sea at Riviera Zushi Marina.
